QUEEN FOR A DAY AT IRENE

Irene Country Lodge was the place where little girls became princesses this past Saturday, when girls with life-threatening illnesses were treated to a pink princess party, in association with Reach For A Dream.

Hospitals, medicine and aches were forgotten for a while, as the girls were spoilt with treats, gifts and bucket loads of attention. The girls were transformed into real-life princesses and even participated in a model show, complete with styling and a catwalk!

“It was an absolute pleasure to have the girls over for the Queen for a Day party and we are proud to be associated with an organization such as Reach For A Dream. Thanks to our sponsors, it was an enormously rewarding day for all those involved. The most important thing is that the girls departed here today with care-free, fun memories,” says Cecilia McKay, General Manager of Irene Country Lodge.

The sponsors who were responsible for the transformation of these little princesses were Colour me Green, Centurion Party Hire and Entertainment with Attitude.

Reach For A Dream fulfills the dreams of children with life threatening illnesses and empower the children and their families to believe in the power of dreams, to know that tomorrow is worth fighting for and that smiles and fun can still be apart of their lives today.
