New SAX development announced

Irene Country Lodge recently announced the biggest hospitality news of 2009 - its exciting new development in conference and event facilities happening in Irene, Centurion. Situated just off John Vorster Drive in the tranquil Southdowns, the Sports & Arts Exchange (SAX) centre is home to a unique venue offering that is set to redefine the conferencing and events industry in Gauteng.

The conference facilities at SAX boast contemporary open spaces that are as versatile as they are inspiring. The SAX Arena, set to be completed by September 2009, is a venue that will offer a variety of options, form large scale conferences to concerts to weddings; all set in an awe-inspiring venue that can accommodate up to 1200 people. The SAX centre also has four additional uniquely different conference or special event venues; as well as two executive boardrooms. It offers the ideal location for weddings and special occasion events; either as open air ceremonies or tasteful indoor receptions. SAX is also home to the private Power Club gym and other state of the art sport facilities; as well as the SAX Café, which is set to become a favourite hang out spot for the urban crowd seeking a stylish dining venue.

The SAX centre is under management of the nearby located Irene Country Lodge, and this efficient team will continue to maintain the excellent service standard at SAX that the lodge is famous for.
