As those who have visited Irene Country Lodge are aware, the lodge has large open fields surrounding the property which in previous years was mainly used for grazing by the dairy cows. But this is changing with plans to create a boardwalk around a section of the lake to allow guests to wonder along the walk way and do some deer watching as well as offering the opportunity for guests to see how many of our more than 150 species of birds can be spotted.
