AFTERNOON TEA ON THE TERRACE

The age old English ritual of afternoon tea has over the years become more of a treat, than a tradition. That is exactly what Irene Country Lodge is doing; treating their patrons to an afternoon tea spread suited for the queen herself.

Served daily between 3 and 5pm on the terrace, overlooking the lake and rolling lawns of the property, the tea menu boasts a selection of culinary delicacies such as home baked scones with fresh cream, scrumptious chocolate brownies and irresistible finger sandwiches, to name a few. These are perfectly complimented by the freshly brewed aromatic coffee and a variety of teas are served.

Whether it is a business meeting, special occasion or just a reason to visit Irene, the tea on the terrace is the perfect occasion to allow yourself to be treated, in the traditional English style starting from R50 per menu.
